Kuwait Petroleum Corp. exported its first shipment of aviation jet fuel from the country’s newly commissioned Al-Zour mega-refinery.

Kuwait has started commercial operations of the first phase of its Al-Zour mega-refinery, after the initial production and sale of fuel oil began last month to supply local power stations.
Kuwait is removing the boards of major government entities including the markets regulator and tenders agency, in a widespread personnel shakeup to prepare for “a new era with new leaders,” Al Qabas newspaper reported.
