It’s not surprising news, but it is welcome: Wednesday has been officially renewed by Netflix. The streaming service apparently just wanted to keep everyone in suspense before dropping the announcement. “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world,” said co-showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar in a statement.
